Cute Skin App – UX/UI Project

General Objective:
Design an e-commerce app for skincare products with a friendly, aesthetic, and functional approach, targeting a young female audience.

Identified Problem (UX):
Users interested in skincare products often feel overwhelmed by generic catalogs, excessive information, and a lack of personalized experience.

Proposed Solution:
A visually clean, emotionally warm, and functional app with intuitive navigation, favorites, cart features, and personalized product recommendations.

Information Architecture

  • Home: Quick access to search, new arrivals, and product categories.
  • Product Section: Filter by skin type or key ingredients.
  • Favorites & Cart: Easy access to frequently saved and purchased products.
  • Profile: Manages orders, payments, shipping details, and preferences.

User Flow

Example flow: Serum Purchase

  1. Log in or sign up
  2. Search or select «Serums»
  3. Filter by type (hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, etc.)
  4. Read reviews, add to cart
  5. Review cart and proceed to checkout

UI Design Decisions

  • Color palette: Pastel and purple tones to evoke cleanliness, calm, and feminine care.
  • Gilroy typeface: Modern, accessible, and minimal.
  • Consistent iconography: Supports navigation and visual memory.
  • Rounded elements: Create a soft, friendly interface atmosphere.

UX Highlights

  • Consistent navigation (fixed bottom navigation bar).
  • Visual hierarchy that highlights key content.
  • Clear visual feedback (active icons, intuitive buttons).
  • Easy product saving and seamless shopping experience.

Cute Skin aims to deliver a warm, functional, and aesthetically pleasing experience for young women interested in skincare.
The UX approach is reflected in the simplicity of the user journey, the emotional tone of the interface, and visual decisions focused on comfort, trust, and intuitive interaction.
